Have you ever used a "crisis nursery"? or would you consider it?

30 years ago crisis nursery's first came out as a place to put your baby/small child for 72 hours while you took a break. I was a teen mom, I used it twice and found it really helpful at the time. Now days these places have really thrived and are good options for people who need a break for 72 hours.

I can't imagine wanting to be away from my babies for 72 hours. Heck, my oldest is 10 and I haven't been away from any of them for a night...at the most a couple of hours.

I've never heard of such a thing. Sounds great though! Especially for single moms. And mothers who just need some sleep! Those early days can be brutal. Can you do less that 72 hours? Like just have some help for a night to get some sleep and restore?

I think we have one in the city.

No I have not used it but knew someone that volunteered there.

I would have used it one day when I had a newborn and three year old and got the stomach flu or the đŸ˜· flu!

Everyone I knew was out of town I was about to drop the kids off at a random strangers house but thank god they fell asleep and stayed alsleep early!

I've never heard of it. I'm pretty sure we don't have them here. I don't think I would have ever used one, but can see it being useful for young moms, moms with PPD, or single moms.
