Breast feeding when you have an infection?

So, I was looking up information on Youtube that had nothing to do with BF, but I had to leave the computer to break up a cat fight (among three of my cats), and get them separated, and when I got back to the computer there is a BF video playing, and the woman clearly has a sore on her mouth!!

Is it OK to BF when you have a cold sore ... and it wasn't even her own child that she was BF?!

It's not passed through breastmilk. It is safe unless she has sores on her breast.
