Do you find this disgusting? Or acceptable at your house?

We have a dog which I find very handy as she eats everything my kid throws on the floor from the highchair. Since we moved the highchair, the dog has figured out how to get everything he has left behind on the tray too. While washing up DD after dinner the dog cleans up for me and I then wipe down the highchair with disinfectent ready for the next use.
My MIL says this is disgusting
I said no it's not, its very convenient.

What is your take?

I think that's one of those things that you just let happen.

I neither have nor like animals. Definitely not enough to let them lick my dishes.

eh. convenient yes, ong as you clean it afterwards I don't see the issue. My dog sits at the bottom of the high chair for my son to toss something down there. lol

As long as you disinfect afterward, I see no problem.

As long as you're not worried about the dog getting cleaner residue when he picks up the scraps, I see no problem with it.

In our house, that's called the pre-rinse!

Nasty.  Your pet sits and licks it's ass and balls/vagina and you let it lick where your child eat's.  There is no amount of bleach/cleaner that would make that okay with me.

My dogs sit outside of the kitchen while we eat and when I am cleaning up they come in and eat what my daughter has dropped on the floor. I don't see the big deal.
