I can say I have reached a friendship with my oldest. He is now 22 and we talk about anything and everything. We will call or text each other just as close friends do. I rarely have to go into mom mode with him anymore.

My 2 year old dd has been calling me her best friend for months and every time we do something together around the house she gives me a high five and gets excited that we used team work! She makes my heart smile 😍

No. My children are all in elementary school and need me to be a parent. I would love to be friends when they are adults though.

No, I'm their mom and they are my kids.
