Like, getting picked for a job they're not really qualified for, to make up racial 'diversity' in the workplace

Yes, i've seen it happen.....unqualified black applicant picked over qualified white applicant.

It's called affirmative action and guess what? It benefits white women too.

I don't agree with it for civil service jobs (cops firemen) but hey that's just me.

It absolutely does. But unfortunately the media has convinced all the ignorant people in America that only white people can be racist. Apparently too few people know how to use a dictionary.

Regardless, I think " black privilege " as you call it would be far and few between. There have been too many times I have been with black friends and seen with my own eyes horrible treatment and thought I was fortunate I was born white. But embarrassed and sad too.

not when the qualified white woman gets passed up for a job over an UNqualified black woman

Who are you to decide if the woman is unqualified??

If a person of color gets hired over a white person, everyone screams racism and affirmative action even before you know anything about this person SIMPLY because they are of color.

Same story, different day. Educate yourself before you start an ignorant post.

Well that's not how it works so if you have seen that, that is wrong.

But that's not how affirmative action works. And the reason it even exists is because for years it happened in reverse to the benefit of the white man.

I don't feel any more or less "privileged" because of my skin color.
I just live my life, do what I do & the rest takes care of itself in my experience
