Different colors? My daughter is 14 and she has Turquoise hair. My son is 12 and his is bright green. Would this be ok in your house?

Hair is a bit different in my house as well, it's not as serious.

DD6 is getting turquoise, green and purple this week, full head. DD8 will probably get something this summer.

My kids have never asked. If they did I would probably let them do something temporary over summer for the twins (11y), I think my 9 year old is too young.

Hell no. Natural colors only.

Dd wants pink and purple streaks. The only reason I'm hesitant is because they streaks need to be bleached first. Her hair is naturally very dry and I don't want it too damaged.

1 mom liked this

As long as it follows the school's dress code, I'll let them do whatever they want to it.

When he's about 12 and he wanted too, why not? It's hair..

My son had a blue(ish) Mohawk for a little bit
I'm relaxed about it

Do they actually have that?

No hair dye or make up allowed in my house.

When I was fourteen, my mother let me put temporary colour in my hair.

It turned out the brightest orange/red you've ever seen!  My hair was naturally dark blonde.

My mother called me "Red" until the dye wore out!
