My son is now a year old and I weigh 240 lbs . I gained 90 during my pregnancy and haven't lost any weight since he was born. How did you moms take it off?

It was easy for me because I didn't gain too much in the first place.

Put the baby in the stroller and walk for as long as you can every day. If you're like me, it makes you feel great to get the exercise, fresh air and getting out of the house. That leads to more energy and feeling more upbeat which leads to a more active lifestyle. Plus, the more active I am, the less I crave crappy food.

That's what works for me in terms of staying thin.

I gained 80 pounds. It stayed on for two years. I went low carb/no sugar and lost it in a year.

Wow I'm not sure how? I've gained around 35 so far and I'm 29 weeks with twins and haven't really watched what I've been eating and zero exercise due to restrictions. I feel massive! I only gained 30 with my 2 single girls, I lost it after just breastfeeding. Start small with diet, drink only water or unsweetened drinks and just walk with your son. It will start to come off and as you feel better you will start to want to do more.

Some but not much. I've been right around the same weight for years now.

I never gained that much in one pregnancy, but I did gain a lot slowly. 245 was my highest point (after 6 pregnancies and 13 years of creeping, I started around 160 before my first child).

I'm down to 217 now (started a little over a year ago), so working my way down kind of slowly.

For me, Weight Watchers and using my treadmill work well, I just have to stick with it! And cutting out alcohol is key for me.
