Do you think it's unfair or wrong

For people who have pets to work full time jobs away from the house? Do you think those pets should be rehomed?

No. They still have plenty of time to spend with their babies.

I think it's fine. Sure it would be great if they could just sit at home all day loving on their pet, but that's not practical. People who are employed deserve the opportunity to have a dog, too. As long as they care for it properly, I see no reason why they shouldn't have one.

I have 30 pets. They don't care if I'm gone all day or even all week

I dont think its unfair.
I was working full time at a grocery store when i got my puppy.
I would get up at 5 am, take the dog out and play with her then leave the house 6:45 am.
DD left the house at 8:30 am and would always take her out before leaving the house (DD was 12 at the time).
I was back by a little after 3 pm.
Bella has always been taken care of.

They should be rehomed if they are in a crate all day (8-12 hours).

But if they can roam the house, no issue. We leave our kids for the same amount of time, should our kids be rehomed? Lol

My dogs sleep all day. So even if my husband didn't;t work from home they would just sleep until we got home anyhow.

No lol
If they are cared for, loved and given attention otherwise, they're fine.

Yup. We went away for the weekend and came back to a house full of shit. I think SO needs to get rid of his dog.

I'm sure this is some sad attempt at a working parent/daycare spinoff.

Just STFU.
