I don't even let dh prepare it because it stinks up the entire house. I hate any kind of fish. Especially canned. That's nasty. If he wants salmon patties, he better go so.ewhere else to eat them.

I've never had it from a can. I could see using it to make salmon cakes or adding it to a pasta salad.

Mmm yes! I pick out all the bones and flake it with crushed saltine crackers, an egg, and mustard. Fry it in oil or grill on the George Foreman. Dip in mustard.

I usually buy it frozen. I thaw it and then put it in foil with lemon, butter, garlic, dill, salt and pepper and then bake it.  But I like canned for salads.

I buy it whole from the fish market and steam it on the stove.

Fish smell makes me gag. I have to have fish soaking in vinegar to eat it. It's so yummy that way lol
