SM wants me to watch her kids...

There is no way I am going to. SM asked if I could watch her kids tomorrow. The kids have no school and last week my ex asked if I could take the kids tomorrow even though it is his week. I said of course. Now SM wants me to watch her kids

I dont really know these kids and I have some stuff to do. I dont have a problem leaving my own kids home alone but I dont know these other kids well. I dont want to have to  bring them with me or deal with any of that shit.

I told her she needs to find someone else. She is upset now but I really dont care. She can get over it.

No problem with this. I wouldn't watch them either.

I am a Step mom. I would never ask BM to watch my kids....

Just pointing out that if you were to reverse your role and say you were sm not bm they would be all over you like white on rice.

Personally I agree with you, I don't like watching anyone's kids unless Ik them well. Even then it would still be a no, unless it was an emergency.

I would take the kids but that's me. We also co parented well. Did things together with the kids and my bio son often went with her and his siblings for family and fun stuff. I don't see it as a huge deal really.

If you don't want to there's no shame in that. Me personally I know bm other kids and she knows mine really well we keep each other's kids often. However I have friends that I refuse to baby sit for and i don't feel guilty in the slightest over it.

I wouldn't watch them either. You're right, you would be stuck at home with other kids around. You barley know them.
