I'm honestly fine with that. He doesn't need to be there. I want to give birth alone. I honestly don't see how this makes a man a pussy or anything. 3rd baby

My best friends dh was on the road for the birth of all 3 of his kids. I was there in the hospital with her and she told me she didn't want them there she just wanted me.

I almost choose my mom over DH with our second. I was actually yelling "I WANT MY MOMMY" when the anesthesiologist got all creepy and started petting my head and calling me baby/sweetie/hun.

I prefer to have my husband there to experience it with me and be my support. But if you don't care, then I see nothing wrong with it.

I had my first two alone because my husband was deployed. Didn't bother me.

My husband was only there for one of our 3. It wasn't by choice though...
