Would you use a grocery pickup service?

If you could order your groceries online, and just pick them up at a time you schedule - would you? Why or why not? Would you pay for the service? An extra convenience fee each time, a monthly fee, or a yearly subscription? How much would you pay?

I wouldn't pay for the service.

I'd have to be very comfortable with the prices and selection at the store to use it if it were free. I'm a penny pincher. And I always look at the clearance rack.

Probably not.

Just because I never know what I need til I am actually seeing it in the store.

No. There is enough people who touch my food before I get it.

My local grocery store does have scheduled pickups. If I worked outside the home, I would likely utilize this service often.

It's not a new service, this used to be very commonplace in the 80s (and, I presume, earlier decades). My mom tells me it was a huge convenience when my sister and I were babies, because she didn't have to get out of the car.

As it is, I tend to use Prime Now about once a month or so - I've been quite happy with the quality of food (even produce) that we get.

Nope. We have a place you can order online and either pick up or have it delivered. We used it once when we had our third. That was six years ago.

Yes! I hate grocery shopping and would be thrilled if I could shop online and have it delivered.
