And by the way, are they buggy or wormy?

Steam them with water and lemon juice (cut off the tops, put them upside down).

Dip them either in clarified garlic butter or a mayo-based garlic chipotle dipping sauce.

I've never had any that were buggy or wormy, no.

I have a plant in my backyard,  ants are very attracked to the plant.  I soak and rinse several times prior to cooking.  Then I steam and dip in mayo with parmasan(sp)  cheese.

There are so many good ways to eat them.

I like to steam them and eat them with dill flavored mayo. Yummy!
