Do you sound how you look?

I'm really little, 5'2 and 100 lbs, and my voice changed like a boys when I was 12. I went from a high squeaky voice to a low boyish voice. I don't sound how people expect me to at all. I also have an odd accent from living in central pa. I picked up a lot of the weird words from the surrounding areas and have kind of a mix between pensyltuckey redneck and Philadelphia speak (water=wooder) I work on my accent because it actually annoys me lol

Basically when people meet me irl I don't talk how they would expect.

How about you?

I don't know. I do not have a typical Appalachian accent, I do know that.

If I speak face to face, not a problem. Over voice mail or singing, you won't think what you hear is actually me. My voice is much lower.

I have a voice for radio. People can usually tell that I'm a singer.

I've been told I look sultry. My voice sounds like Scarlett O'Hara on helium. Appearance and body do not match

Not anymore. I've always had a sexy, sensuous voice and it was me perfectly when I was younger. I've gained weight recently and it doesn't work now lol.

I was told that when I'm trying to sound cheerful I sound like a little kid on the phone, when I'm normal I sound like a sex phone operator doing the deep, sultry thing and when I'm angry on the phone I sound like a gangsta dude lol I really can't win over the phone.

Quoting squeekers: If I speak face to face, not a problem. Over voice mail or singing, you won't think what you hear is actually me. My voice is much lower.
