Why am I wrong if I want to stick to "traditional" gender stereotypes?

Why am I wrong if I don't want my son wearing a dress?

Why am I wrong if I want my daughter to dress like a girly girl?

When they are adults and can buy their own clothes, ther are free to wear whatever the hell they want.

Why am I wrong because I'll be damned if my husband wears a damn man romper? I like manly men and there is nothing manly about those rompers.

All this gender neutral BS is getting on my nerves.

You're not wrong for deciding what you like, and doing that.

You're wrong for forcing it on others. They're not dolls.

I teach my kids to be themselves. Sometimes it's a manly man, sometimes it's not. I've got more important things to concern myself with than a boy wearing a kilt.

wouldn't it be a more traditional gender role to not tell our husband what he is and is not going to do?

Do what you want and do not give a f**k about what others think.

You can do what you want. You don't have the right to force your kids to dress and act like you want them to. They are human beings, with their own likes and dislikes. You also don't have the right to teach your kids that only males matter and females should be subservient.
