My boyfriends oldest daughter had her high school graduation today. She invited his ex wife to the event and also to the family dinner this evening. Is it weird that she did that?

My stepdaughter tried to invite my dh's ex GF to events all the time when we first started dating. Finally, my dh had to tell her it wasn't appropriate and that he wasn't going to tolerate it any longer so she quit.

We seem to get along fine. She is living with us right now.

Is the ex wife her mother? Not that it really matters. She wanted to celebrate with people who helped her achieve this milestoje

No. Obviously someone the dd cares about.

How long were they married?

1 mom liked this
She invited her mom? Or a former step - mom? Neither would be weird.
