Books for boys entering 6th grade in fall. They are not really into fantasy. I'm looking for non fiction preferably or historical fiction along those lines. I went out on Facebook and everyone is offering up exactly what I'm not looking for lol.

Get them books on WWII so they understand why what their president is doing is dangerous, since their parents won't teach them.

Depending on their maturity they might enjoy reading about explorers. If you look up Lewis & Clark you should get other explorers as well. Glad you have readers!

They do like reading but only when it is a subject that really interests them. 😀
