DH destroyed BM's life and future

According to her at least.

2 months ago she called DH to "give him a heads up" that her and the kids are moving across the country over the summer. Her fiance just got a new job there and they have to move

DH said no way and went to court to get an emergency order to stop her from leaving until there was an actual court date. Well they just got done with court and BM was told that the kids could not leave their school district. So she can move but only to another neighborhood not across the country.

BM is very upset. She is saying she has to pick between her kids and her future. She is going to stay but her fiance will be moving and doesnt want a long distance relationship for the next 4-5 years minimum.

BM is now telling anyone that will listen that DH destroyed her life and has taken away all her happiness and her future.

Anyone who actually knows about the situation knows she brought it on herself but some others are judging DH.

I told him to just ignore the whole thing. He did the right thing for the kids and BM will either need to get over it or keep looking like a fool

He did the right thing.  She is not the only parent here

No one knows whether the father is a good father or not, so how do you know it was the right thing?

So you're okay with a woman taking kids where they grew up and away from their father?

He is an amazing father.

He did the right thing. The kids should not be ripped away from the only life they have ever had to move to a new place when they dont even want to. They are all in high school and have lives here.

IF they are in highschool, she should consider moving with her fiance and letting you and your husband finish the school years here.

They can go visit her for holidays and summer vacations. If she really loves her fiance, and these kids are almost adults, I'm sure they'd understand if they don't want to move, why the compromise had to be made.
