What is the right punishment for THIS?!

My daughter and son, 10 and 5, were arguing over a computer so I took it away from just the 2 of them for 5 days. I locked it in a cabinet and I found my 5 year old daughter on a stool with the key getting it. I uid the key in my underwear drawer. She went through my drawers, unlocked the cabinet and was going to play it! She is sitting eating dinner right now. Proper punishment ideas please.

Losing computer privileges for the summer. Computer use is not an entitlement,or need, and for a kid to go looking for the key to it indicates an over attachment to it. She needs to live without it for a good long while.

It'll be a good punishment next week watching brother play and she can't.

After I secretly high fived her in my head for resourcefulness I would ground her for 2 weeks from all technology she has access to. She will be a problem solver, kudos for that skill mom!

For some reason Joyce has a severe attachment to me, hubby and electronics.

Only two weeks, when she seems to be obsessed with it, and openly defying OP? Kids don't have a god given right to use the computer! Not long enough.
