How many hours a week do you work?
Or, if you used up, how often did you work

About how much did you make a month?

At our place girls who work 20+ hours a week typically make between $1500-3500/month

I've seen girls make $500 in one night if a customers feels like showing off or being extra generous, which happens a fairy often

I've had people find that hard to believe.

I work at a nice restaurant in a suburban area, I'm sure in bigger cities people make even more.
Is this typical for most areas?

I work at a nightclub in LA as a bartender. It is considered "high end". I make around $1,000 to $1,500 a night.

Our top server makes around 1200 a week in credit card tips alone. She works 30 hours a week.

Our #2 server makes around 700-800 a week in credit card tips.

Our restaurant seats a max of 23ppl, we serve no alcohol and our average plate price is 14 bucks.

I bartended at a small local neighborhood bar in Houston in the 90's.   I made $75 per 6 hour shift + about $100 in tips on weekdays.  $250 in tips on Friday night & about $300 in tips on Saturday afternoons.

The most I ever made in a single day in tips was $1750 at a chili cookoff.

My brother is a server. He gets between 12-20 hours a week. He usually makes about $100-$200 in tips for the week. People around here are cheap. IDK what he makes per hour.

Lol it is definitely just our reputation and location. People wait hours to get in the door to buy 60$ shots. Tips get nice =)

I have bee. A waitress on and off for 12 years. Reason why I never accepted promotion is management doesn't make tips.

I don't know why people sometimes look down on career waitresses, service staff. I usually worked at 4 star,5 star places. GOOD money. We received regarding education in cooking and wine. You had to have an adequate French pronounciation. And you had to be a
Good looking (unofficial rule) we don't have a single girl bigger than size 6.
