Destination wedding somewhere interesting? Beach wedding in swimsuits?
Star Wars themed wedding?

Tell me about any nontraditional, crazy, or off-the-wall weddings you've been to

And tell me honestly, what did you think about it?

One of my cousins had a somewhat different wedding. The venue was outside which isn't odd but the music was different. Her grandparents were escorted in to Neil Young's "Heart of Gold ". I can't remember what song she used when she walked down the aisle but when she and her husband walked out after the ceremony, it was to "Shipping off to Boston " by the Dropkick Murphys.

I've been to several Pride weddings before gay marriage was legal. A dear friend had a hand-fasting ceremony prior to a JP ceremony. About 20 years ago we were distant stand in for an online wedding. Groom was in Georgia. Bride was in Virginia. Preacher was in Pennsylvania. I was a a maid of honor & DH was a groomsman. We are in California.

My cousin married in the mountains of Colorado. There was a little gazebo tucked in there. It was cold though, and very windy. The reception was just a small buffet and music played from a boom box. It was a small, but very nice gathering.

That's really the only wedding I've been to that didn't include a big traditional reception afterwards, with many guests.

Oh, mom remarried in Vegas by an Elvis. I did not attend, but I watched the live stream.

I don't think so...one couple hosted a masquerade ball for their wedding reception, a week after the wedding.

One couple put the bridesmaids in flamingo pink ode-to-the-1980's dresses (with black tulle underskirt) while the groomsmen wore tuxedo t-shirts.

My in-laws got married on top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas.
