Ds9 is out of town visiting my in-laws. MIL doesn't think this bug bite needs an antibiotic. He's had two like this recently that his Dr gave him antibiotics for. MIL says the bite is oozing liquid. The pictures are Wednesday, then this morning and this evening. I told her if it's not looking better by Monday morning then he needs to see a Dr. She only responded with a picture of his leg saying it looks better, but the picture looks the same as this morning to me. The more up close picture is this evening.

It looks like there is a little sore or at least missing skin... it wouldn't hurt to put something on that.

Are they using Neosporin on it?  That should help.

Does he always react that way to bug bites?

Have her draw a circle around the edge. Then you can tell if it gets bigger or smaller.

She's putting neosporin on it, I just think he needs something stronger.

She has been putting neosporin on it since Wednesday. The last year or so he's been reacting this way. If he was home I'd have already taken him into his Dr.

It won't clear up immediately but that should help.
Is it bothering your son at all? Like painful, burning, itchy?

I'll suggest it but IDK if she'll do it. She's being very nonchalant about the bite and I'm freaking out internally about it because he's had to have antibiotics lately when it looked like this. He's 8 hours away.
