My dad died last week and I still haven't really cried

I held back tears at the funeral, cried in my closet for a few minutes one day....other than that nothing? We were close and he had a very brief illness and unexpected death at 61.

I am very sorry :( I will admit that when my father passed. I didn't really cry accept  at his funeral a little bit.  Everyone processes grief differently. It doesn't make you a bad person.

It'll hit you when you least expect it. I doubt youve really come to terms yet with your dads death. I'm really sorry for your loss!

Grieve in your own time. When my grandma died, I didn't cry right away. I was busy being strong for my mom. I felt okay...upset, obviously, but okay. Then one day, out of nowhere it all let loose and I just cried and cried.

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't want to think about losing either of my parents someday.

Everyone grieves differently. My dad passed away 2 years ago, coming up July 9th. I was a mess. I still randomly think of him and break down. I am an emotional mess with his upcoming bday (which is the day he slipped away before actually passing) and the anny of his death.

When my mom passed,I didn't cry. But when my friend died, I bawled.
