How long do I give them to fix it?

My insurance screwed up and listed some of my claims as out of network when they should have been in network.

Took two months and 4 phone calls to get them to fix it.

In the mean time the doctors office sent me a bill for over 200 bucks. They do have it noted that I was fighting with the insurance.

Today. Finally the insurance paid things correctly and I only owe 19 bucks to the doctors office.

So how long do I wait before I call them? A week? A month? How long before they should update things on their end? And send me a correct bill?

Also this isn't just a one small doctors office. This is a huge corporation with several hospitals and dozens of offices all over an 8 county area. So it's not like one person handles the insurance claims.

Just go ahead and send them 19 bucks (with your account number) if you know for sure that you owe that.
When it would be processed depends on several things. One of them being their billing cycles

I would give them 30 days before you call again. That's pretty typical.
