Okay, not the traditional sexting on a cell phone but..
Dd10 has been playing moviestar planet on her tablet and the computer for about a week. She has been at her dad's half that time. It is some game where you do makeovers and dress up and there is a moderated chat/message feature.

She gave me 4$ yesterday so i could use my card to unlock some stuff.

Well this morning i went on the game, logged in as her and checked out her messages.
Turns out, she has been swearing (which just shows up as ####) and saying sexual stuff like
" *lays down* do anything you want"
" bxoxoxbxs" (boobs)
"Sxexxx" (sex)
"Lxixcxk" (lick)
(The x's are to surpass the ####)
So basically trying to have cybersex with someone else. Unknown if it was with a male or female, who knows how old they are.

She has also been sending her username and password to anyone and everyone.

This is a HUGE deal to me. I am not mad at her and i do not look at her differently but she obviously doesn't understand what is and isn't appropriate or just doesn't care.
I told her i know she is going through a lot of changes (hormones, puberty, etc) and sexual curiosity is normal but this is not ok. These are strangers and it is sooo inappropriate.

She has been caught messaging swear words through musically with her friend before, and she was grounded for like a month from electronics, and permanently banned from the app.

I'm thinking grounded from electronics for the summer and no more of that game.
Gher dad says maybe just grounding her for the weekend would suffice since she is normally very well behaved.

My issue is that this is a repeat offense and it got worse since last time.

Also, should i give her 4$ back?

What would you do? What do you think?

Eta
She also denied sending the messages multiple times even when we were looking at them. It was definitely her. She should be punished for lying, too, i think.

The game would be deleted, and tablet taken away.

All forms of electronics taken away. Serious talks about appropriate online behavior. Also talk about sex, and respectinget her body...etc.

I am amazed that parents let kids that age have free range on electronics. What happened to playing outside and reading books!

She wouldn't have social media or play games where she could interact with strangers until at least age 14 in my home, to begin with.
A 10 year old?
Hell No!
Give her her $4 back??? Are you serious?

Until she was 18. Seriously it would be indefinite. Until she got it through her thick skull she's playing a dangerous game.
