Do you let your kids play with your phone?

I have a 3yo and she uses mine often (not for long amounts of time, but A lot when we're out and about. I would say 1-3 hours a week tops)

She's never alone with it, and never gets it when were at home, but if we're in waiting rooms, or at restaurants, I sometimes will let her Play toddler games that I've downloaded for her, or watch videos on YouTube

My sister saw this the other day and scolded me, she says it's stupid, because the kid could break the phone, and it's "bad for them to use cell phones that young"

Inwas surprised

I have friends who buy their kids THEIR OWN cell phone. I know some kids that are getting hours of time a day playing on phones.

I think it's pretty common for kids to at least play with their parents phone sometimes
Right?

It's funny because DD does not play with my phone nor does she ask, however, with STBX she does and asks him (she's 6, going on 7).

Nope. Our kids aren't allowed to play on adults phones. My oldest has her own. I don't care what other families do though.

I used to. They have their own IPads now. They don't need my tiny IPhone 7 plus.

Not until recently. She's six and I just started letting her play with it

No, I don't. I don't see a need for it, nor do I think it's appropriate for such young children to be having so much screen time.
