If they leave that puppy out all night again I'm calling the cops

Luckily it was hot and humid enough to have the air on last night.  But when I got up to use the bathroom I heard our neighbor's puppy outside barking it's head off.  It had been out most of the day in extreme conditions too. They have 2 dogs, the puppy is about a year old.  Not sure why it was banished to the backyard for the night, but I hope it doesn't happen again or I will call the police.   I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is.

call animal control, not the cops, and call during the day for advice on what to do

Our dog spent more time outside last night than normal. I put her out at the kids bedtime like normal, but I fell asleep. I felt so bad when I woke up and realized what had happened. It wasn't all night though.

There are noise ordnances in the city.  When the dog 2 doors down is barking all night long I have a right to be upset when I have to get up in the morning.

Not when they're barking all night long.

My dogs live outside. We love them to pieces but not in the house unless it's really storming outside.
