Does anyone else's kids' school not have a school supply list ?

At my kids' school, there is nothing to buy over the summer... They get new backpacks and clothes, but all the school supplies are already there waiting for the students on the first day.

The school my dd went to in kindergarten didn't require supplies. You paid a $20 fee and that was it.

They give out the supply list on the last day of school for the next year. There really isn't much on there, maybe $30 worth if that.

Our school is in a pretty affluent area... We get a few students that are bused in from other areas, but not many.

It is a charter school though, so maybe that makes a difference.

Is it a private school?

Ours is charter, too. It's that way until junior high then they get a list.

Usually the teacher request things like Clorox wipes or tissues or whatever after class starts but we don't get a list.

Everything's provided here. The parents donate and make cash donations throughout the year though.
