They will not let your kid in the classroom until school supplies are brought in

That is how the school my kids go to works. School supplies are mandatory and if you dont have them you dont go.

There are no parents saying they cant bring them or having to share or having a community pot of shitty school supplies. The teachers dont have to worry about wasting their money on school supplies because parents wont bring them.

I think all schools should be that way

Our school doesn't have a hard time either. School supplies aren't mandatory, but people just have common sense and provide for their children.

Is this a private or public school?

Every child deserves an education, even the ones with parents who can't afford supplies. I'm so glad my community offers many resources to help the ones who can't afford them.

Private. There are a ton of places that will help you with school supplies here so there is 0 excuse.

Then that makes sense. Public schools should not be that way however.

Smart school. Too bad this isn't done everywhere. Guess all the "I can't afford school supplies" parents will actually have to budget now, like the rest of us.

Well, seeing as it is private, than that's their rules. As for public schools, I don't believe they are allowed to do that.
