What do teachers do with all the Ziplock bags? I've always wondered this. Every single year even when I was in elementary school teachers will ask for sandwich size and gallon-size Ziplock bags. I have only seen a teacher actually use them once for organization purposes but they come in boxes of 50 and if you have 20 students bringing them in what are they using a thousand bags for? Even if only half the kids bring in the bags 500 bags?

I have no idea. I don't remember those ever being on the supply list when mine were in school.

All sorts of things.

Sending wet clothes home

Sending messy projects home

Sending homework that has small pieces and must be returned in

Books to read and return, helps keep them from being destroyed if a bag is wet

Send things home during holidays.

Used to hold small objects in the classroom.
