My son is only 6 and yet I have already felt like a failure for several reasons.

I don't feel like a failure, but I know I have my strengths and quite a few weaknesses.  What is going on?

Sometimes I do. I would be able to give my children more opportunities had I made a career for myself before children. And of course I question how I deal with particularly bad days. But in the end, I love them and am doing my best to raise them properly.

My childs weaknesses and challenges are not my failure. Although some people have tried to make me believe that.

I do my damnest every day. I'm not perfect.

Sometimes. I feel bad for giving DD my ex as a father, and for having her so young (I was 21). I can't give her everything I want to. That being said, she is a smart, well cared for little girl who knows she is loved. That makes me feel better. But I always feel as though she deserves better than me.

Sometimes, like when my daughter eats something with dairy that I wasn't away had dairy in it while we're out and about.

Thank God it's a low allergy that only results in a small itchy patch that goes away in three or so days ☹️
