Dh and I were planning on scuba diving on Sunday. I just had a ultrasound guided core needle biopsy yesterday. Should I still dive?

I wouldn't risk it. Even a needle biopsy should be bandaged for several days and there are some nasty microbes in bodies of water. And staph, which isn't in water but can be found on surfaces pretty much everywhere only needs a tiny surface scratch to cause an infection. A needle wound isn't big, but big enough for microbes and goes deep into tissues, where an infection can get very serious.

I would not risk it. Even with the needle biopsy you still have to heal.
I looked like someone used me as a punching bag for weeks after my biopsies , so there could also be the comfort factor

Mine was a few years ago, but I remember lifting restrictions afterward. Pretty sure I would wait on the diving. Best wishes for good news on your biopsy

Call an ER or urgent care and ask?
