A friend of mine I haven't seen in a long time called me this evening freaking out. She was asking about what all they do for blood work at 1 year check ups seeing as my sons around that age. I told her they check for anemia and lead poisoning. Then she decides to tell me she's been smoking pot and breastfeeding the past few months and she thinks they'll drug test her daughter. Although I don't agree with her choice at all I don't think they'd test a baby without a reason right but I could be wrong. Well,do they?

I haven't smoked since high school so I'm clearly not worried about me .

U can smoke cigarettes while breastfeeding. I don't think weed will do anything to the baby. Tell her to research it online.
