In the past year, she has been slowly changing her clothing identity dressing more gothic. So I decided to also dress gothic. Now she is pissed off saying I look like a freak and to knock it off. I told her it's just clothing and I like the gothic look. Now she is changing her clothing identity again. I think I will too.

If one can't stand being mocked, then they need to look in the mirror.

How is that right?

Your DD is of an age where she is experimenting trying to find what/who she is. Trying on different things will help her figure out what fits.
& youre belittling it and making fun of her?

What your daughter is doing is so normal and healthy for her age and stage of development. ..she is trying on different styles of fashion and personas. Why won't you let her have that?
