Do you feel sad that you'll never be wealthy?

I haven't even been able to buy my first home. I'll never be able to make enough to be considered wealthy as I think of it. Wealthy to me is not only owning a home but a nice home. Having a lake house. A boat. Nice cars. Good vacations. Knowing my kids wont go into debt and that they'll have a head start. It's very depressing.

I know I should be glad for the rented roof over my head and the food on my table, and on and on.

I'm grateful for the financial comfort I have.

No. I'm wealthy, and worked hard for it. I also do not obtain happiness from my wealth. I was super happy when I was piss poor, too.

I need to be more grateful. I'm not sure how.

Nope. I knew what I got into. We live comfortably, but it's unlikely we'll have a lot of money. We decided long ago making a difference in the lives of children was far more important than fancy vacations and people cleaning our house.

I'd love to find out whether money would make me happier. In betting it would.

No. I'm happy to be comfortably middle class, we have all of what we need and a lot of what we want.
