Why is this Solar Eclipse such a big deal to you all?

I honestly can't see why people wouldn't be excited or at least interested.

It's suppose to be an amazing experience. None of us have experienced a full eclipse so we decided to make the trip 8 hours south to see it. We are on our way now.

I am looking forward to sharing this experience with my kids and husband.

It's not a big deal to me at all. I think it's kinda neat but I'm not losing my mind over it.

It is only a big deal to me because I work in an Ophthalmologist office and I don't want to see people lose their eyesight or do irreparable damage to their eyes trying to look at it. I will be working during the eclipse. I will not be viewing.
