Is it possible to get control of depression without outside help?

I have no idea, but it's been a recurrent issue since she was a teen.

Yes but it's not easy and I don't recommend it. A good support network at the very least and insight into how to manage it naturally is needed. I manage mine without outside help (from a medical professional) but i have to stay on top of my selfcare or I get hit hard.

I do have a depression. A severe one and there is no one to help me. I am fighting and trying to make it still, you are not alone, keep it up, you can do this , you can fight it.

I'm sure it depends on the severity of the depression.

If it's recurrent and chronic, she definitely needs professional help.

Bipolar is a chemical imbalance clinical depression is an imbalance depression is not. Don't be spouting off unless you're educated.
