Nada, if that is what makes you happy.

Nothing at all, if that's what you want.

Absolutely nothing. Who told you otherwise?

Marriages can be performed by any number of officiating persons to provide couples with whatever experience they desire.

Nothing. We went in to the courthouse and literally got laughed at by the ladies behind the counter. We were young but that was rude and hurtful. Happily married for 12 years and we would have been just as happy with a JOP as we are being married by a pastor of a church. (His deployment got moved up and we were engaged but wanted to live together before he left, so we moved the date up a few months and did a quick ceremony).

Nothing.  We got married by a JP.  Our JP was great.  Customized our ceremony by working with us on our vows.  We are not religious so it was the right mix of spiritual acknowledgment with our vows to each other.
