My ex husband just lost his damn mind.

He's in prison for being a pedophile. I just got some paperwork he filed with the court whining about the fact that I got sole custody of our kids, his visitation is supervised at my discretion. He's saying it violates his parental rights to have to see the kids supervised and asking by what legal grounds the judge granted me custody. I was able to prove to the judges satisfaction that unsupervised visitation with my ex would be detrimental to the kids well-being. He says he wants 50/50 and primary legal custody. He also wants me banned from discussing his visits with the kids.

Please tell me this is not possible? They aren't going to leave these kids alone with a violent pedophile are they?

I wish he were dead. At least then I would KNOW the kids are safe.

No. He can ask for anything he wants, that doesn't mean he will get it.

If he's in prison, how would his visits be anything but supervised?

I'm not a lawyer but that sounds highly, highly unlikely. He probably wouldn't even be the guardian if something ever happened to you.
Good luck.

He's supposed to be released in November.

LMAO! A pedophile wants 50/50. I almost choked on the cheese I'm eating.

Lol right!

My ex is always in prison but you need an adult to take in a minor. Unless he gets someone else to take the kids. But it'll still be supervised.

I wish I could tell you there's no chance.. but after dealing with these courts the last several months, I would just tell you to have a good argument and lawyer present with you.. just in case.
