Because it's private.

1 mom liked this
It's kind of like farting or taking a dump. We all do it, but it's hush hush.

It is, I'm asking why though

Quoting Anonymous 3: It's kind of like farting or taking a dump. We all do it, but it's hush hush.

Because it's embarrassing to let people know you do it.

I'm not embarrassed by it. I'm trying to understand why something natural is embarrassing

Is there? Its private so not talked about openly, like I don't talk about sex details openly, but I never thought it was wrong or shameful. Just private.

Would you want your mom or dad knowing the foot massager sitting on your night stand is your best friend at night?

I don't think there's a stigma. But like the previous poster said, it's like any other bodily function. I am aware it happens, it's just not something we need to share. Why do you want to talk about it? What's the gain there?

You don't understand my question. I've explained so many times and I'm so tired of explaining what I mean
