Kids meeting the boyfriend *eta

Just wanting some opinions. I've been dating this guy about 3 weeks. As far as introducing him as the boyfriend to my son (4), it's obviously way too early. But the situation is that bf has a daughter around the same age. I feel ok about getting the kids together to play. No bf/gf stuff. To them we would just be D's mommy and A's daddy. But what do you think? Would you be ok with casual playdates in this situation?

To clarify: this isn't about ds meeting my boyfriend. Neither of the kids have anyone to play with on their weekends with us. That's why the subject came up. The purpose is for the kids to play.

Nothing wrong with "bumping into" a friend at the park.

Why not? If he's cool the kids are playing no adult touching lol... heck yeah! They could end up being best friend's and make you guys closer too but not at your houses yet.

I don't see anything wrong with a play date. Meet up at McDonalds or a park.

Heck no! Way way way too early. What if they become friends and then you guys break up and suddenly you have to explain why they can't play together anymore. Hold the heck off!
