Tonight, right before bed, I'm going to put this 18 pound hunk of pig leg in the oven and roast it overnight low and slow. Then, tomorrow, I'll shred it up, wet it down with a bit of bbq sauce, and use it to feed about a dozen of our favorite people :)

What do y'all got going on this weekend?

I would not have the oven going while I'm sleeping.

It'll be fine. An overnight roast won't kill us while we sleep.

I am going to Benihana's tonight. Tomorrow going to drive around the mountains looking at fall colors and cook out.

DH is studying for his boards on Monday, so I'm trying to keep my toddler occupied. We did a Heart Walk today with my coworkers, then lunch, then long nap. Tomorrow I'm taking the boys out somewhere undecided as of yet in the morning, then to the lake terrace on the university campus for ice cream if it isn't raining in the afternoon.

I'm excited about it. Dh made a great dry rub for it and then we covered the sucker in garlic, onions, and lime. *droooool*
