I like it UPDATE

I saw an apartment today. It is in good condition just needs a few repairs.

It is a bit smaller than my now apartment because the layout is more rectangle than a square.

But i was thinking because the one bedroom is too small I'd make the front room (the living room) my bedroom.

The kids would have there own bedrooms.

In the back of the house is the dinning room. I was thinking of making that the living room also. The couch well loveseat anf kitchen table can fit fine with plenty of room.

The kitchen is smaller but it has the washer and dryer in it and i don't mind because it has plenty of cabinets and drawers.

Plus there is tons of closet space in the dinning room and the smaller bedroom.

The only downside is it is 2nd floor.

It is only a few blocks from where i live now which is really good, can have an easy move.

Now it is just a matter of getting the paperwork in order. My lease is up on the 30th and they need 30days to fix everything.

I'm hoping everything works out.

Update.

I heard back from the landlady.

She is willing to hold the apartment for me till Nov 1st. I got it in writing just in case.

She needs to fix a couple things anyways.
The balcony needs new paint and the back deck needs to be rebuild (it is a tiny one).

I also need to pack.

I have 6 weeks to do so.

See if you can walk around and talk to people who live there to see how it really is. Or read reviews on that apartment search website. I don't really talk to you or know you well but I've kind of followed your posts and it seems like every time you move you're in love with the place and then it all goes to shit.

This is true. I plan to do my research better this time.
Thank you.
