I had a very brief discussion with my grandma that was along those lines. Everyone else knows I'm just going to do what I'm going to do. They gave up years ago, lol.

Mine acts like she always knows better than me and that is when I remind her that I am an adult and will think about her opinion but I will be making choices for myself in the end.

No. They aren't that intrusive. I usually just smile and say thanks for the advice, and then ignore it.

I don't know why people don't know I'll purposely do opposite of what they tell me. Every time
