How I knew I was overweight...

I knew what the scale said. But I didn't realize just how noticeable the weight I'd gained was to other people. I put on a dress to go to a wedding and someone complimented me. She said, "I like your dress. It's very flattering."

She was trying to be nice. That's how I knew!

Eh. It's ok. It honestly doesn't bother me that much anymore - this happened last year and looking back it was kind of a moment for me.

I know I'm more careful now with what I say to people also.

My thighs started cheering me on while I walked and I couldn't button my pants for work anymore. I mean I knew, but that's when I got too overweight.

Have you lost weight because of it?

Yes! I mean, I can't completely credit that comment. But that's when I started. I'm 145 now at 5'7". I'd like to lose another 10 pounds, but I fit back in a size 6 and it's amazing! I've lost 45 pounds.

It's a miserable feeling, isn't it? Hope things have improved for you.

Poor kid. I wish someone had told me about cocoa butter when my breasts developed.
