Puberty is such a f****** nightmare.

My DD9 is entering into the early stages of puberty. The physical stuff is no big deal, aside from the insane amount I've had to spend in bigger clothing and shoes. But oh my god. The hormones, and the attitude that comes with them, are about to do me in. I'm watching my sweet, loving, thoughtful little girl turn into a surly, snappy jerk. Not constantly of course, but I've been ready to strangle her three separate times today. Someone tell me it gets better...

Yuck! My oldest dd never did that during puberty...my 9 year old dd is going through puberty and is not that bad 99% of the time. She gets snippier with her sister than she does with us. I pretty much just have to give her " the look" and she apologizes instantly. Thankfully, neither of them care about clothes/shoes so that hasn't been an issue either.

My niece was a nightmare with the hormones..she is now 15 and my BIL and SIL lived through it...so did my niece. LOL I know they wanted to strangle her many times as she was super emotional.

Ugh! You are telling me! My oldest just turned 11. We have done our best to keep the drama and attitude at bay. It's a constant struggle!

Sounds like you aren't raising her right. My dd is 11 and going through it but she isn't like that.

She doesn't care that much, but I swear one night she went to sleep and then woke up the next day 2 sizes bigger in everything! I had even bought several shoes at the beginning of summer in her next size up but she skipped right over them!

Fuck off. I'm raising her just fine.

Funny how that works huh? Last year she was constantly asking me questions, now she argues with half of what I say!

I don't think mine are going to grow. LOL Mine are small and probably always will be. My oldest is about to be 12 in November and is 80ish lbs and 4'9"..she is pretty small...25% for weight and 23% for height..she wears a 10/12 and a size 3 in shoes.

My 9 year old is 60 lbs and 4'3"...25% height and 32% for weight. She wears a 7/8 in everything..she wears a 13 in shoes,
