We just got an old English sheepdog. I believe she was just a breeding dog and hit her limit so the owners gave her away.
She's 6 and just had pups 8 weeks ago. I was nervous to bring an older dog into the home. But I'm so thrilled with her. I love how laid back she is.

She's getting spayed in Oct.
Just wanted to show her off

Zandie 😀
I love to lay on the floor and shell come lay next to me and I get a close up of her face. But her ears are adorable and grey and shag carpet like! I love feeling her fur.

Awe! She's a sweetheart. I had an old English when I was a kid. She was a great dog. I just adopted an older dog myself. Mine is a German Shepherd mix and she's 10 years old and set to be spayed next week.

She was sad the first couple of days. She's nervous around men and leaves the room if my youngest cries. But she hates leaving my child with anexity issues for long and she stays near me as well.

She'll herd me if we walk and people get to close.
Unfortunately, she was not socialized well so she's a bit jumpy but if someone comes into our home she watches then allows them to touch her. She can't have other pets in our home, which is fine!

I've never brought an older dog home especially with kids, but I'm glad I took the chance on her.
I walk her later in the night since it's so hot here. My oldest walks her early. Then shell go outside in the day to pee but gets so hot.

And she's stubborn to a degree but if I use my commanding voice she'll do what I say. I hope she lives a very long time!
