I saw a guy wearing this shirt and his little boy was wearing a shirt that said "section 8", the back said "born and raised"

I don't get it..all I know section 8 being is government housing.

It could be the parents way of dealing with being on section 8. Making fun of themselves.

This shirt doesn't seem like it matches that brand. Their clothes appear to be business clothes.

Quoting JayTee80: Section 8 is a clothing brand.

Well, since the shirt can be bought at Rockabilia, I would imagine Section 8 has something to do with music. A band? A song? *shrugs* Perhaps the Born and Raised thing is about being all about the music. Ha! Who knows.

According to Google there is a hard rock band out of Boston called Section 8. Maybe that's it?

It's a band. Nothing to do with government housing.
