Could you ever forgive a family member that told you to kill yourself?

We had our first, petty argument. We were going back & forth & then my first cousin told me to kill myself out of the blue

Nope. To this day, I still cannot talk to my sisters ex-DH. He told me that more than once.

If you say stuff like that you need to learn some self control. Grown ups don't do that.

I don't understand where it came from. Yeah we were arguing, but I never went below the belt like that until she told me that
