There was a small fist size hole that needed to be filled, sanded and painted. The landlord charged $65 for labor time and supplies. It took the maintenance guy 20mins.

Edit.

I could have fixed it myself, the landlord said not too because he was worried about more damages.

He saw it before i could fix it myself

In the wall? Seems fair to me. Stop allowing people to put holes in your walls.
